OUR MISSION: TO SEEK, LOVE AND EVANGELIZE THE LOST. TO EQUIP THE SAVED. TO MINISTER TO OTHERS. TO STAND BOLDY ON THE WORD OF GOD. ___________________________________________________________ WHAT WE BELIEVE WE BELIEVE that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins, arose, and is now on the right hand of God WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired Word of God WE BELIEVE that every person has worth as a creation of God, but "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." WE BELIEVE that forgiveness of sins, and the promises of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as their Savior and Lord. WE BELIEVE that those accepting Christ should repent of their sins, confess their faith, and be immersed into Him. WE BELIEVE that the church is the body of Christ on earth and exist to save the lost and edify the saved. WE BELIEVE that Jesus will return to earth, redeem His children and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords in Heaven. ___________________________________________________________ TO HELP YOU BETTER UNDERSTAND THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH: 1. We take the Bible as our only rule of faith. 2. We speak where the Bible speaks, are silent where the Bible is silent. 3. Our only creed is Christ. 4. We observe the Lord's Supper weekly. 5. We practice baptism by immersion 6. The Holy Spirit is received at the time of immersion, and is God's gift to all who have obeyed the Gospel. 7. Our church is built on a divine platform founded in God's Word. 8. We are neither Catholic nor Protestant...simply a free church in Christ. 9. We wear the divinely ordained name "Christian." |
